Mass will be said in the Extraordinary Form on Thursday Night at 7:30pm at St. Mary Mother of God in Washington DC. 

On Tuesday May 30th at 5pm on the Feast of St. Joan of Arc a Solemn Mass will be offered by a newly ordained priest of the Priestly Franternity of St. Peter in the Extraordinary Form with Paslestrina's Missa Aeterna Christi Munera and the Gregorian chant propers.

Saint Mary Mother of God Church in Chinatown invites you to come to celebrate Mass with us. If you are in DC for the March For Life, you're welcome to join us for Mass. Since many groups are visiting the city for the March several Masses will be held at St. Mary's for them. Masses will be held at 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am, and 12:05am. Since groups are often supplying their own priests, the Masses may begin slightly later than scheduled depending on their arrival time.

A Solemn Mass will be celebrated by The Reverend Paul D. Scalia, Diocese of Arlington (Virginia). 

The Mass will be the Missa In médio Ecclésiæ Intret for the feast day of Saint John Chrysostom, Bishop, Confessor, and Doctor of the Church.  

 

 

The Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. in the Extraordinary Form (traditional Latin Mass) at St. Mary Mother of God Church at 5th and H Sts. NW in downtown Washington DC.  Ms. Gray attended Mass here.

A Solemn Mass will be celebrated by The Reverend Paul D. Scalia, Diocese of Arlington (Virginia). Assisting ministers will be Rev. Luke Melcher, Diocese of Alexandria (Louisiana) (deacon), and Rev. Ernest Cibelli, St. Mary Catholic Church, Hagerstown, Maryland, Archdiocese of Baltimore (subdeacon).

Missa Cantata on Feast of the Assumption August 15th

Mass is at 7pm. Traditional Latin Mass according to the 1962 Missal. 

The Traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated for the Feast of Corpus Christi on May 26, 2016 at Saint Mary Mother of God in Washington DC at 7:30pm.

Wednesday, February 10th is Ash Wednesday. Even though Ash Wednesday is not aHoly Day of Obligation, Ash Wednesday, Fridays duringLent are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence forCatholics. The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 8 until age of 59. When fasting, aperson is permitted toeat one full meal. Two smaller meals may also be taken, but not to equal a full meal. The norms concerningabstinencefrom meat are binding upon members of the Catholic Church from age 14 and onwards.
