As announced from the pulpit, there will be a scheduling realignment for traditional Latin Masses at Saint Mary's.
First, the 2nd Sunday 5 p.m. Mass has been retired. Sunday Mass will remain every Sunday at 9 a.m., with more music being added to the schedule.
Second, there will be additional traditional Latin Masses each month on first and second class feast days.
For September, there will be additional Low Masses on the following days:
Wednesday, September 12th at 7:30 p.m. for the feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary;
Friday, September 14th at 7:30 p.m. for the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross;
Friday, September 21st at 7:30 p.m. for the feast of Saint Matthew, patron of our cathedral; and
Saturday, September 29th at 9 a.m. for the feast of the Dedication of Saint Michael the Archangel.
Summary: traditional Latin Masses every Sunday at 9 a.m. (not on the 2nd Sunday at 5 p.m.), every Friday at 8 a.m., every 1st Saturday at 9 a.m., holy days of obligation as announced, and additional feast day Masses as announced, including 9/12, 9/14, 9/21 and 9/29 this month.
