Bishop Athanasius Schneider, Auxiliary Bishop of Astana, Kasakhstan, will celebrate a Solemn Pontifical Mass and preach the sermon at St. Mary, Mother of God for Feast Day of Blessed Karl. Many representatives of the military orders of the Church participate, especially the Knights of Malta, to which Blessed Karl belonged, adding luster and festivity to the Mass. Music for the Mass is provided by Musikanten and the St. Mary's Schola with its ladies' counterpart, the Schola Cantricum. Mass will be followed by public veneration of the first-class relic of Blessed Karl, accompanied by the music of the St. Benet's Schola. After the Mass and veneration of the relic, all are invited to the reception. Special Guests at the reception, besides Bishop Schneider, will be Prince Dimitri Galitzine, great-grandson of Blessed Karl, and his wife, Princess Alexandra Galitzine; Father Boniface Hicks, representative of the Emperor Karl Prayer League in the United States; Declan Ganley, Irish entrepreneur and pro-life advocate; and Paul Van Wie, founder of the Kaiser-Karl Archive of North America.
