At our weekly Wednesday Adoration, Brendan MCauley will speak on the Theology of the Body.
In today’s world we are so confused about our sexuality and the meaning of the body. We are bombarded by the media that tells us our bodies are meaningless and we can do whatever we want whenever we want. Saint John Paul II on the other hand proclaims that the body reveals ultimate meaning and what we do with our bodies matter. In this talk Brendan will give an intro to the Theology of the body and share his personal testimony on how it changed his life.
Brendan McCauley hails from Washington State and studied business/marketing at Washington State University. He is currently in his second year at John Paul II Institute in Washington, D.C., and studying towards a master’s degree in Theology: Marriage and Family. He is also pursuing Certification in Theology of the body and hopes to develop a Theology of the Body speaking ministry.
Our guest will be available for Q&A at the Young Adult group that meets after adoration in the parish rectory.
